1. Introduction
Welcome to Mpocket POS (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the App.
Mpocket POS is a mobile Point-of-Sale solution designed to help you manage sales, stock, expenses, customers, reports, and to print receipts via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-enabled printers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the App. By using Mpocket POS, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
3. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or business use in accordance with these Terms. You agree that you will not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
- Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information when using the App;
- Maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials;
- Ensuring your data (including customer data) complies with applicable laws;
- Using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity functions in a lawful and responsible manner.
5. Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Usage
Mpocket POS uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi features of your device to provide printing and connectivity functionality. This may include:
- Scanning for nearby Bluetooth printers;
- Pairing and connecting to Bluetooth printers;
- Discovering and connecting to Wi-Fi printers on your network.
The App uses these capabilities solely to support printing and related App features. You agree not to misuse Bluetooth or Wi-Fi features for unauthorized access to other devices, networks, or services.
6. Payments & Financial Transactions
Mpocket POS helps you record and manage sales and transactions but does not itself process payments. Any payment processing (such as cash, mobile money, or card terminals) is handled by you or third-party providers, and not directly by Mpocket POS.
We do not store credit card numbers or bank account credentials in the App.
7. Data & Backups
The App may store your business data locally on your device and, if enabled, may sync to cloud services. You are responsible for ensuring that your data is backed up regularly and for taking appropriate steps to prevent data loss.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, without prior notice, if:
- You violate these Terms;
- Your use of the App creates a risk of harm or legal exposure for us;
- We discontinue the App or any of its services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mpocket POS and its developers shall not be liable for any:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities;
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages;
- Losses resulting from device, network, or printer malfunctions;
- Losses resulting from your failure to back up or secure your data.
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10. Governing Law
These Terms may be governed by the laws of your jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your region.
